About Giacomo Fenocchio
The Fenocchio estate was founded in 1864. The 12-hectare estate has been handed down for over five generations. Giacomo Fenocchio was responsible for adding vineyard land and focusing on exports, and today the estate is run by his sons (Claudio, Albino & Alberto) with nearly 80 percent of the production exported
About the Langhe Nebbiolo 2018:The Fenocchio Langhe Nebbiolo is sourced from vines that are on average 15 years old and growing in the Monteforte d'Alba region of Piemonte. Traditional vinification techniques are adopted and the wine is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks followed by six months in large Slavonian oak casks. Deep ruby red in colour the wine has an intense and fruity bouquet of plum and cherry. The palate is dry with good body and well balanced tannins, hints of liquorice and rose.
About the Roero Arneis 2018:
A more complex Arneis on the nose with a touch of yeasty and nuttiness immediately as it is poured into the glass. As it warms up we are talking about yellow stonefruits with a lemony acidity that comes through. Delicious and juicy with a long finish.
